-STORY TIME-

(NOTE: This RP takes place before their daughter's birth)

Aijo walked through the hive with Gerim and smirked after they passed their favories private rooms. "Seems like they had fun." She said quietly, seeing that they were asleep.

Gerim chuckled softly. "Glad to see the got along so well." He quietly said with another chuckle.

"It is like they were made for the other, isn't it?" Aijo said and softly nuzzled him.

Gerim smiled and leaned again Aijo a little. "I'd have to agree." He replied and nuzzled her back.

Aijo smiled and looked over the two Favorites and smiled. "I wonder what their foal will look like. I am sure he or she would look like."

Gerim looked them over as well. "I'm sure we'll find out eventually." He replied then softly kissed Aijo on the cheek.

"Perhaps in time. I do know that their child will be precious. Such a beloved child." Aijo said with a smile.

Gerim smiled. "Has this happened before, two favorites mating?" He asked.

"It is very rare. Concerning that most of the favorites are female, I choose the only male favorite. One male out of the entirety of other female favorites. However, when this does happen, their children are called 'Beloved.' They are called that because it shows the love their parents had for the hive and to each other. The hive also loves them and treats them as their own. The hive will be proud of them." Aijo said. "It is such a rare event."

"It would seem that quite a few rare events have been happening as of late." Gerim said with a smile. "They have quite the life ahead of them."

"Yes, yes. It seems as if it has." Aijo turned back to Gerim. "Lets leave them be. They are quite tired it seems. Wouldn't blame them." She said.

"Very well." Gerim replied with a small chuckle. "let's go."

Beloved:

The "Beloved" are the sons and daughters of the Favorites. Beloveds are very, very rare concerning the only male Favorite in the hive is usually the Queen's. In this case, the Father is Sunny Soul and the Mother is Moonlight Star. Soul is the Favorite of the Queen and Star is the Favorite of the King (in this RP).

Beloveds are quite unique from other ponies. Their pupil and iris remain the same as if they were a Favorite, however, their sclera remains white. They are not bonded to any Conniption Changeling and it is impossible for them to be bonded.

They are treated as if they were the Queen's own children and are very special. They are very talented and intelligent (however, most are illiterate like most Changelings of the Conniption hive are unless their parents teach them otherwise).

Most Beloveds are also very late bloomers in terms of Cutie Marks since they live in a hive most or all of their life, depending on how much they are sheltered.

Brood Brothers:

Most Beloveds have a brood brother that they have a very special relationship with. The brood brothers are usually the pupas changelings that hatch at the same time the Beloved is born. Though not bonded like Favorites are, brood brothers to the Beloved share a mental lock with their Beloved sister. Instead of being a normal drone now, the brood brother is chosen to help care and nurture the Beloved like a real brother would.
